Interests
I've been coming and going here on dA - usually just to clean out my messages stack and that kind of thing. I honestly haven't been too busy art-wise - at least, not in any way that I'd put up here.

I have been continuing to draw my comics - both MSC: First Fantasy and Chibi Death, which can be found at www.slightlyoffstudios.com - but little else. I've been doing a lot of prep work on other comics and just trying to get ahead on these books. Doing things like cover designs, new characters, and doing a LOT of writing. A LOT. For some reason, I always get the urge to do MORE work during the holiday season. I dunno if I'm subconsciously trying not to spend time with people or what, but it always happens. : /

Unfortunately, I also work retail and that means TONS of work and stress. Despite having the plans in place and all the prep work done, I get VERY little done. This whole weekend I should have been drawing comics pages, but instead I've been doing anything but. Read some comics, played some video games (Professor Layton RULES), and watched a lot of TV. I'm so behind on my shows. : ( The price of making your own comics, I know.

That said, I'm really enjoying the current season of Fringe (what I've seen), and I'm enjoying Once Upon A Time and, of course, the Walking Dead. Oh, and Top Chef. I'm a sucker for Top Chef. I really enjoyed Just Desserts, but it's nice to be in Texas and back to doing savory cooking.

So what else is going on with me...

Eh, not a whole hell of a lot. I'm going to try to post more work here, probably character designs or something as I move forward. I have a few other pieces of artwork I'd like to share, so I'll be around!

Remember:

www.slightlyoffstudios.com - for my comics

[link] - for my writing. I've done quite a bit of fanfic over the past few years, but this my only current ongoing.

And, ah, have a nice day!
  • Reading: Young Avengers
  • Watching: Gurren Lagann
  • Playing: Professor Layton and the Unwound Future
  • Drinking: Coke

I've also heard good things; quite a few webcomics I read use it. However, my best friend has hosting to spare, and offered me some space if I wanted to build my own site.

It's a bitch to manage or build, but I like it.
